The former president's Granddaughter Receives Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Before LPGA Debut

Young golfer preparing for major competition

The rising star boasts impressive social media presence

The young golfer can count on multiple high-profile backers as she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns multiple golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive person. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

Kai will face some of top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching youth audiences.

The young star maintains millions of followers and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
